haze

haze is my guitar based music project. It is one of many, some never see the light of day. Or really, never get released into the ether.

What is it besides a guitar based music project?

Well, it sort of has a specific sound, or like an idea of sound. Wall of sound, shoegaze type stuff. It can be less wall of sound-y too. The soundtrack to my trips through nostalgia. That might be the best description of it.

Soon or never to be released album. Still trying to find a sound for it. It started its life the same way as the previous album. Then I realized I wanted to record my amp instead of using Neural DSP's Morgan Amps. Now it's in limbo as I balance trying to find a sound I like through my amp and liking how it sounds being recorded.

This album is a short EP that is probably best described as instrumental shoegaze. It was born out of trying to find some kind of life balance with my hobbies. I hadn't played guitar in a few months and it became the great escape.
